At Hydrogen Expo 2026, taking place in Piacenza, at Hall 1, Stand B78 the h-dual project will showcase one of the most advanced solutions for decarbonizing heavy-duty transport: a latest-generation Ford Trucks vehicle equipped with dual-fuel technology.
The vehicle features an innovative system that enables the combined use of HVO Diesel and renewable gaseous fuels such as hydrogen or hydro biomethane, providing a practical and effective solution to reduce the environmental impact of freight transportation without compromising performance, reliability, or operational efficiency.
Hydrogen Expo represents an important opportunity to demonstrate the potential of this technology to industry professionals. Developed to support a gradual and sustainable energy transition, h-dual offers a realistic pathway toward lower-emission transport in the commercial vehicle sector.
Ecomotive solutions, a company specialized in the development of alternative fuel systems, was responsible for the design and implementation of the h-dual technology, as well as the validation and testing activities carried out on the vehicle displayed at the exhibition.
